In January 1990 a new step was taken when it was decided that the operations of the project should be entrusted to an Angolan acquainted with the educational problems. Under the auspices of Programme Angola-Canada; this person became responsible for coordination of all the involved parties in the Project; namely Canadians; the Government Office for the Rehabilitation of Musseques (Squatters); the Ministry of Education and Mulenvos Community.
