About the Archive

The Development Workshop Digital Archive exists in order to preserve the legacy of DW’s work spanning over 40 years and 30 countries, and to share DW’s contributions freely with stakeholders, other organizations, the global academic community and the general public. The Digital Archive contains over 5500 items including digitized slides, photographs, documents, cartographic material and videos dating from the 1970s to the 1990s. Physical items are held in Guelph, Canada; Lauzerte, France; and Luanda, Angola. We will continue to add items to this Digital Archive. Please visit the About Featured Programmes page for details about DW's specific project work. Please visit the FAQ page for more details about the Digital Archive.
